How Women Can Benefit From CBD

There’s an all-mighty list of ways that women can benefit from CBD use, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise! Yep, CBD has found its way into beauty products across the board and has taken the sex industry by storm. It shouldn’t come as a surprise but CBD, the popular non-psychoactive cannabinoid in the Cannabis plant, has some huge benefits for women!

Here are some ways that CBD has been said to assist the general population, regardless of gender:

  • Pain relief
  • Helps to quit smoking
  • Epilepsy
  • Reducing unpleasant cancer treatment side effects
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Acne
  • Alzheimer’s disease

But, this is all about the womxn out there! Here are some CBD benefits just for you!

CBD Beauty

Kick that annoying “Maybe She’s Born With It” slogan out of the window and go straight for the CBD beauty products!

The cannabinoids work as an anti-inflammatory that helps combat acne symptoms as they control oil production. Some studies actually go as far as saying that CBD applied in clinical practice exerted a unique “trinity of cellular anti-acne actions”. That’s science talk for, “This stuff is rad for the skin.”

We believe the hype as well, as Zootly clients rave about using our CBD products.

But this is just information from one of the many research papers we’ve read. The other “maybe” benefits (no studies, just general user feedback to health professionals) are: strengthening of hair follicles; reducing dark spots; and improving the look and health of the skin.

CBD PMS

Studies have found CBD helps to alleviate some symptoms of PMS. This is due to its anti-inflammatory properties that can help to ease cramps, swelling, and tenderness. We’ve heard some great results from customers in the store about our range of CBD drops.

There’s talk of CBD helping with hormonal complications and mental health. From a personal perspective, here’s our take: treat CBD like you’d treat Disprin. You can take Disprin to help with cardiovascular issues, as it thins the blood, just don’t expect it to stop a heart attack. Both are taken on a precautionary basis.

The same can be said for CBD when considering its use for treating hormonal issues. We’ve seen some internet sites that say CBD can help, but we’d rather be a bit cautious and rephrase;

“CBD products can really help individuals to relax.”

Now that we’ve spoken about relaxing…

CBD Sex

Yeah, we’re diving in deep here. CBD oils, lubricants, and sprays has been said to help alleviate dryness and in turn, reduce sexual pain experienced by some women.

Here, women can benefit from the relaxing qualities found in CBD. It has been said to help by easing muscle tension, setting the mood, and reducing performance anxiety.

There have also been studies that suggest THC (CBD’s psychoactive neighbour) can help increase the frequency of sex in relationships – as we mentioned in a previous blog.

There are plenty of ways ingesting of CBD, so trying it isn’t going to be a problem, but if you are planning on using for medical reasons, we always strongly recommend talking to your doctor first.

Zootly Says: “It’s beginning to look a lot like CBD can do pretty much anything…well, it can’t make you high, so at least there’s that.”
