If you’re heading down to Cape Town’s Deep South region, a must-visit for all cannabis fans is Seknd Nature’s Kalk Bay branch.
Kalk Bay is one of Cape Town’s most charming seaside villages, with quaint antique shops, a working harbour, and some excellent eateries.
With “newish” trains running along the Southern Line from Cape Town, it’s easy to plan a relaxed day trip to the coast and pop in at Seknd Nature. Just remember there’s no regular Southern Line train on Sundays or public holidays, so plan ahead.
If you’ve ever done a Kalk Bay mission after a Muizenberg beach walk, you already know the vibe. And it’s safe to say Seknd Nature Kalk Bay fits right into it.
Now, let’s talk about the store’s location.
Seknd Nature’s Location
Right across from Seknd Nature, you’ll find Kalk Bay Harbour. It’s one of those must-see stops that makes the whole coastline feel alive.
Fishing boats bob in the tide, seals bark at each other near or on the docks, and just a little bit further down the coastline are some of False Bay’s prettiest swim spots for a sunny-day dip. Namely, Wooley’s or Dalebrook Tidal Pools.
The main strip is packed with little treasure shops and vintage finds. Bakeries and coffee nooks make up half the fun of wandering the streets of Kalk Bay.
Seknd Nature is tucked away and cohabits the location with Bel Piatto Al Mare and Miss Mrs & Friends in the Majestic building complex. A huge bonus (for this particular branch) is that members can order food and drinks from the on-site restaurant, which can turn a quick visit into a proper Kalk Bay afternoon session.
We recommend checking the menu before you arrive, as Bel Piatto Al Mare’s dishes look and taste excellent. And just take a look at the spot in the photo we borrowed from their website.
You might have noticed the little pup riding shotgun in a motorcycle bag in one of the Google Maps photos. Good news… dogs are welcome here.
As dog lovers, we’d honestly give this place a Google rating of 6 out of 5. Pets just make everything better.

All member applications are screened before anyone can join, and memberships run for 12 months, with the option to renew at the end of the year. We like to think of getting a membership to Sekand Nature as having access to amazing clubhouses across the Western Cape (mostly), where the vibe is relaxed, cannabis and food quality are high, while the rules keep everything safe and legal.
Please note: Seknd Nature’s lounges and product withdrawals are only available to approved members of their Private Cannabis Collective. So no walk-in purchases.
When you do sign on the dotted line to become a member, you agree to:
- Keep things discreet about the club and its members
- Complete basic training on cannabis rights and responsibilities
- Follow the club constitution and house rules
- Provide accurate information about their cannabis needs
- Not to resell any cannabis obtained through the club
- Follow best-practice guidelines for collectives
- And support community projects when possible
