Is a question we answer every day in the shop.
It’s understandable because there’s still a load of grey areas around the consumption of cannabinoid (CBD), even if it is legal.
Currently, most clientele are following their friends’ advice of a drop a day.
But as soon as they’re made aware of the various levels of CBD, different extraction processes, and different applications, they can be excused for getting overwhelmed.
Let’s do some basic housekeeping. And, before we dive into this content, please seek professional advice before exercising your credit card arm!
The Right CBD Dose Differs From Person to Person
CBD dosage is not a one-size fits all approach. There are a number of factors to consider:
- Your weight;
- Your individual body chemistry;
- And the severity of the condition you want to treat.
A massive contributing factor is your body’s Endocannabinoid System (ECS) reacts to the CBD.
In short, we’re going to tell you that you’re unique, special, and your mother was right!
Now let’s talk about your weight.
One of the biggest contributing factors to the right CBD dose is your weight.
The more mass you’re carrying around, the higher the dosage will have to be – generally speaking.
Once again this is a blog, not a medical journal.
The condition you’re treating and the amount of discomfort it’s causing are both major factors.
If you are suffering from migraines you’ll need more a higher dosage than if you’re trying to recover from a… hangover… feel like we’re walking on a knife’s edge with this paragraph.

Working Out The Right CBD Dose!
Right, we made it to the table part of this blog.
When working out how much CBD you should take we’d suggest following the recommendations laid out by Honest Marijuana.
Their suggestion is to take 1-6mg of CBD for roughly every 5kgs (10 pounds) of body weight, dependent on the individual’s level of pain.
We’d strongly suggest starting with small doses, and work your way up slowly.
We’re Still Finding Out The Facts
It may be counterintuitive, but CBD is still being researched and the facts are being clarified.
What is certain is that the side-effects aren’t nearly as serious as normal pharmaceutical solutions.
So, before you invest in all our CBD products:
