Cannabis Grow On A Budget

Budget-Busting Cannabis Growing Setups!

We’re not going to deny it, financial times are tough in South Africa. It affects everything we do from the price of milk to the price of petrol. It really is an economic nightmare! A cannabis growing setup might not be your main priority at the moment.

But we know that if you’re reading this, you want to make a plan to grow your own on a budget. I mean, the headline gave away the game…

So, let’s get to it then!

Without further-a-do, here are some budget-busting cannabis growing setups!

Entry Level Cannabis Grow

If you’re not necessarily the most green-thumbed then this setup is for you!

First of all, you’ll need our range of Zootly fabric pots. Why fabric pots? Well, we wrote about the benefits here. And guys, the hype is real.

Cannabis Growing Setups: Fabric Pots
Our top of the range fabric pots are available in 40l, 20l, 10l and 5l

Now that you have some vessels, you need some planting medium. There are loads of options from your usual soil outlets, but Zootly isn’t your average outlet. This is because we stock the Organic Classic soil from Freedom Farms, described by those in the know as the original OGs of the industry. You definitely want craft soil, even as an entry-level grower.

And there you have it! You’re ready to grow. If you’d prefer even more convenience as a beginner grower, why not purchase the Zootly’s Nest? It’s the all-in-one beginner’s growing kit that includes everything from your soil and fabric pots, down to everything you need to get that seed sprouting.

Keep in mind that there are loads more things that you could stock up on to get even better results… so let’s take it up a notch.

The Semi-Pro Budget Cannabis Grow

For this one, you’ll still need all the same entry-level items, but you’ll be stepping up your game with the use of nutrients. We stock the full range of GHE tri-packs. These packs are chock full of specialist nutrients and provide the perfect ratios for each growing stage.

The GHE tri-packs also comes with a pH level reader, which is important. Getting the correct pH levels means you’ll be able to boost crop yields and grow stronger plants. This being said, it requires more skill and work.

If this hasn’t scared you off, we can step it up another gear. Oh yeah, we can take it to the next level!

Throw That Budget OUT And Be The Pro Cannabis Grower!

Oh yes, even in financially tough times, some of you may not be feeling it as intensely as others – you’re a wealth smith! Bless your soul. Now you want to splash some of that paper and be the ultimate Cape Town cannabis grower. In order to achieve this, you’ll need to bring your setup inside, away from the wrath of unpredictable Mother Nature.

If you’re going indoors you’ll need a grow light, or a California LightWorks SolarSystem unit. These come in three sizes and need a control unit that can adjust the light spectrum so it is absolutely perfect for every stage of growing. Pretty intense stuff.

Now that you have the lights, you need a rad, quality grow tent. Luckily for you, we stock the epic Zootly tent. With its reflective lining, you’re bound to get things cooking! But now you need to ensure that you maintain the right temperature in your tent.

Once again, we have the solution (look at us, solving all your problems): in-line duct fans. These fans are designed to suck hot air out of your grow tent (who are we kidding -your grow ROOM). You can also monitor the temperature and adjust accordingly.

Well, this shouldn’t come as a surprise that we also stock carbon air filters, which will ensure that you’re not overwhelmed by that sweet, sweet Mary-Jane smell.

We could go on-and-on about all the additional elements that can improve your setup, but really, it depends on your budget.

We, however, are the all-in type of guys. That’s why we opened the store.

Zootly says, “We’re all about that professional service!”
