As you would be aware by now, growing your own cannabis plant for your own consumption at home is legal. You may not purchase or sell cannabis. We feel like the only people that need to be educated on this fact are “pop-culture”, day-time radio DJs… and the dear owner of Canapax.
let’s talk about the top South African Cannabis Seed Outlets!
AND before we go any further, most of these outlets sell:
– Autoflowering (they flower ASAP);
– Feminised (no guesswork about what gender it is);
– CBD (more hemp and little to no THC);
– Regular (if you’re not in the mood to play GROWING GOD!) May or may not flower;
– And Hybrids.
Cool, we promise we’re done now.
Stocking their own sourced seeds from the best cannabis breeders in Holland and Spain, using American and European genetics, they deliver the best quality President seeds with a touch of humour.
Sure, we’re biased, but it’s hard not to be when President seeds germinate so bloody well.
The old guard of the seed selling business, they now offer a 48 hour delivery time on all their products. Not so much a singular brand of seeds, but a worldwide seed bank. They offer all the iconic strains you might have bumped into over the years.
Fairly new to the game, this local seed bank has some amazing “breeders”. They really have a great tip on their website:
“Smoking Gun advises its customers to reassure themselves of local applicable laws and regulations before germination.
Smoking Gun cannot be held responsible for the actions of those who act against laws and regulations that apply in their locality.
Cannabis seeds should be kept as collectable souvenirs by anyone in an area where cultivation of cannabis is not legal.”
We like simple legal chat as much as good genetics in our seeds.
I’m going to mention that these guys are local, even though I now feel like Captain Obvious. They offer bulk seeds as well as companion plants (we’ve written about these before), and of course, biltong.
If you’ve ever scanned through the forums of 420sa.co.za you’ll know the name – as they deliver. While the digital platform might be a bit old, it doesn’t really matter as long as you get seeds with good genetics.
There are loads more of these sites popping up, and we’re sure we’ve missed a few gems. Just mention them in the comments, and let’s get started on seed providers.
