If you were wondering, the Italians share similar cannabis possession laws in regards to personal use as South Africa.
But why am I bringing up the Italians on a South African website? Because I’m about to share a CBD-infused basil pesto recipe!
What you’ll need is:
- 1/3 cup Pine Nuts (can be replaced with walnuts)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 cups Basil Leaves
- 3/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- Zootly Broad Spectrum CBD Oil 1000mg
The first step is
to add the basil leaves, parmesan, pine nuts, and garlic to your food processor
(a blender will also do).
Then blend together the dry ingredients until they are finely minced.
Now, drizzle your olive oil and CBD oil into the mix. Keep mixing until it is
fully worked in. Do it as slowly as possible to ensure you don’t generate heat.
Heat is bad for CBD, that’s really another blog topic…
Anyway!
Once you’re happy with the consistency, add the seasoning into the mix and
slowly blend it.
Tasting is encouraged throughout the process.
When you’re happy with your creation, it is ready to serve!
